Welcome to the Resumé section of my web site! Here I will inform you of my education, experience, expertise and career objectives while demonstrating some of my web development skills. You may also download my resumé in PDF format.

I am actively searching in the Washington D.C. area for a mid-level position in web administration, development, design or front-end integration. My hope is to find a company that shares my interest in the latest technologies. My goal is to continue developing my programming skills in order to develop efficient and useful applications for the web.

As you will find, my past experience has been in customer service and related fields while my most recent work--over the past five years--has brought me to more technical roles. Since completing my bachelor's degree in April of 2000, I have been working to advance my technical skills and knowledge. I moved quickly to become certified in web development technologies. This certification with iGeneration covered HTML, Internet Development Teams and Technologies, JavaScript, DHTML(CSS), and ASP. Soon after acquiring this certification I taught the same introductory courses to other's pursuing certification for the training company, TrainX in Miami and Trinidad. In addition to teaching, I worked on a small development project with TrainX where I consulted on a prototype, modular web site--creating code from scratch for the front-end interface, client-side form validation and back-end, database interaction. Currently I am working with American University's Washington College of Law, performing extensive work in ColdFusion and SQL Server. I was intimately involved in the redesign of their site over the past year. I am also working on a voluntary basis with a community organization to develop its online presence. The site (www.linkdc.org) is entirely of my design and implementation.
